Carlos and Anastasia have been dancing together for 2 years already. They live between Russia and Brazil and travel to different corners of the world to share their Zouk tecniques and passion to dance. They taught workshops in 7 cities of Russia, 6 countries of Europe, 3 states of Brazil, 2 cities of Israel and soon will perform on the 1st Zouk festival in China.
CARLOS OLIVEIRA, Brazil
Carlos Oliveira started his dance career 12 years ago at Centro de Dança Alex de Carvalho (CDAC). In 2005 15-years old Carlos was already a part of “Alex de Carvalho Dance Company”, after “Mamborio Dance Company” and “Rafael Oliveira’s Dance Company”. Carlos was trained in all brazilian social dances such as Samba de Gafieira and Funkeado, Brazilian Zouk, Bolero, Forro, Soltinho and also did contemporary and modern dance courses. As a teacher he worked at several Zouk & Samba Festivals around Brazil. In 2012 and 2013 he participated at Carnaval making part of the Commission of the famous Samba school “Inocentes de Belford Roxo”. Carlos also has competed in the biggest Samba & Zouk championships in Rio de Janeiro, such as “Samba Rio Show” in 2012 and 2013 (4d place) and “II International Congress of Zouk Lambada” (3d place). In 2015 Carlos joined the Patrick Carvalho’s team in the prestigious “GAFIEIRA BRAZIL” Championship where he won the audience with his creative Chaplin Samba choreography. In 2016 Carlos spent 3 months teaching and performing at European Zouk Festivals in France, Poland, Holland and Spain. After that he was invited to give classes at “Ipanema Dance Studio” in Russia where he met Anastasia. Since that time Carlos and Anastasia are dancing together, teaching and performing for the biggest zouk communities worldwide.
ANASTASIA LYAKH, Russia
Anastasia started dancing Brazilian Zouk and Samba de Gafieira in 2009 in Porto Alegre when she did her 6 months internship in Brazil. In January 2010 she started learning Zouk in one of the most reknowned dance schools in Rio de Janeiro «Academia de Dança Renata Peçanha». Renata’s school had the greatest impact on her technique and style.
When came back to Russia Anastasia began teaching and promoting Brazilian Zouk there and together with Piterzouk team she was one of the founders of Zouk in St.Petersburg. In 2010 Anastasia started working with Maxim Chistokletov. Together they have been promoting and developing Zouk, giving workshops in different cities around Russia and Ukraine. In August 2011 they organised the 1st Russian Zouk Congress & Championship in St. Petersburg that has become the biggest Zouk event in Russia. In 2013 they inagurated “Ipanema Dance Studio” in St. Petersburg where they teach regular Zouk and Samba de Gafieira classes. For some period of time Anastasia also danced with a famous Zouk artist Kamacho with whom she taught at the biggest Zouk congresses in Russia, Europe and Brazil.
In 2016 Anastasia met Carlos Oliveira and soon began training Zouk and Samba with him. Together they built a strong partnership that with no doubt brings a new flavor to a Zouk world.
Carlos e Anastasia são parceiros há 2 anos, juntos eles já ministraram workshops em 7 cidades da Rússia, 6 países da Europa, 3 estados do Brasil, 2 cidades de Israel e são confirmados para o 1 Zouk Festival na China que acontecerá em Junho 2019.
Carlos Oliveira – Profissional de danças brasileiras formado pelo «Centro de Dança Alex de Carvalho» (CDAC) no Rio de Janeiro. Iniciou a sua carreira em 2005, participou da Cia Alex de Carvalho (dançarino e coreógrafo), Mamborio Dance Company e Cia de Dança Rafael Oliveira. Participou como professor no Samba e o Salão 4, Ilha do Zouk 2013, Aliança Zouk 2015 entre outros workshops pelo Brasil. Integrante na Comissão da frente da Inocentes de Belford Roxo 2012 e 2013. Disputou nas competições de Zouk e Samba de Gafieira: Samba Rio Show 2012 e 2013 e 2° Congresso Internacional de Zouk e Lambada (3 lugar), Gafieira Brasil (Sendo homenageado em 2017 como melhor show GB 2015). Em 2016 realizou sua primeira turnê internacional ministrando aulas nos maiores Congressos de Zouk da Europa. No mesmo ano foi convidado para dar aulas na «Ipanema Dance Studio» em São Petersburgo. Em 2017 ingressou em nova turnê europeia (lecionando no MAC- Método Alex de Carvalho) e novamente Rússia, através de sua já então parceira Anastasia.
Anastasia Lyakh – Dançarina e professora de danças brasileiras na Rússia. Conheceu o Zouk brasileiro e Samba de gafieira em 2009 durante o intercâmbio de 6 meses no Brasil. Estudou o Zouk seguindo a metodologia da «Academia de dança Renata Peçanha» – uma das maiores escolas de zouk brasileiro do Rio de Janeiro. Voltando pra Rússia, começou e ministrar aulas e promover o Zouk brasileiro em São Petersburgo e outras cidades da Rússia. Desde 2011 organisa o Russian Zouk Congress – um dos maiores Congressos de Zouk no mundo. Em 2013 inaugurou a própria escola da danças «Ipanema Dance Studio» onde ministra aulas de Zouk brasileiro e Samba de gafieira. Viajou com workshops por várias cidades da Rússia e participou como professora nos maiores Congressos internacionais de Zouk, tais como: Prague Zouk Congress, Dutch Zouk Congress, Congresso de Zouk Lambada no Rio de Janeiro entre outros. Em 2017 começou a parceria com Carlos Oliveira do Rio de Janeiro com quem ultimamente atua no mercado de Zouk internacional.
