In 1986, he founded his school \u00ab Centro de Dan\u00e7a Jaime Ar\u00f4xa \u00bb where more than 30,000 students have registered. He has also trained more than 100 dance instructors so far, and he is still training new professionals across the entire country.<\/strong><br \/><br \/><strong>Jaime Ar\u00f4xa is not only a dancer, but also a choreographer. He has worked for theatre, movies, and TV shows. He has created more than 50 choreographies for the most varied performing arts events, even for \u201ccomiss\u00e3o de frente\u201d of Samba schools. While he was in an exchange programme in Cuba at the National School of Cuba, he learned to dance salsa. He also studied this dance in Costa Rica and travelled to France, Italy and Germany to compete.<\/strong><br \/><br \/><strong>Jaime Ar\u00f4xa has studied tango for more than ten years in Argentina with the best teachers of Buenos Aires. He brought Lambada to Rio de Janeiro in 1989. He learned Jazz with Enid Sauer and Classical Ballet with Jean-Marie Debret. He gained great experience in everything that relies on improvisation. He developed his drama skills working for important directors such as Mauro Rasi, Domingos Oliveira, Amir Haddad, Moacyr Goes, Paulo Betti, Henrique Dias, etc\u2026<\/strong><br \/><br \/><strong>He has been pioneering, idealising, directing and choreographing popular ballroom dancing shows such as Salao Brazil, Lambada Alada, Com o Brilho do teu olhar, Viva Brasil, Rio de V\u00e1rios Sambas, C\u00e1 entre N\u00f3s, and more\u2026<\/strong><br \/><br \/><strong>Kiri Chapman started ballet at an early age, leaving home at the age of thirteen to study at the Kirov Academy of Ballet in Washington DC. She received full scholarships for her studies at the Kirov Academy and for summer programs at the School of American Ballet and American Ballet Theater. Upon graduating from the Kirov Academy in 2005 and immediately joined the corps of Tulsa Ballet Theater in Tulsa, Oklahoma. In her three seasons with the company, from 2005-2008, she performed nationally and internationally in choreography from Twyla Tharp, George Balanchine, Nacho Duato, Ma Cong, Marius Petipa and many others. She has been recognized in several internationally acclaimed ballet competitions: Youth America Grand Prix New York Finals (top twelve), Jackson USA IBC (competitor), and New York IBC (semi-finalist) and has been featured in Pointe Magazine. <\/strong><br \/><br \/><strong>Chapman began ballroom and latin dance in NYC in 2010 and since then has been training, teaching and competing in festivals around the world. She placed 2nd in the Michigan Dance Challenge cabaret division and was a finalist in the Millennium Dancesport Championship 2014. She has taught and performed all over the world, Mexico, France, Angola, Brazil, Canada, Japan, and throughout the US. She loves to fuse her classical background and aesthetics with the energy and flair of latin dance and strives to create work that connects dancers from all backgrounds. Em 1986, montou su apr\u00f3pria escola, o Centro de Dan\u00e7a Jaime Ar\u00f4xa, pela qual j\u00e1 passaram mais de 30.000 alunos. At\u00e9 hoje, formou mais de 100 professores de dan\u00e7a de sal\u00e3o e continua formando novos profissionais em todo Brasil. <\/strong><br \/><br \/><strong>Al\u00e9m de professor, Jaime Ar\u00f4xa trabalha como core\u00f3grafo tendo atuado em pe\u00e7as, filmes, novelas e shows. Durante estes anos j\u00e1 realizou mais de 50 trabalhos coreogr\u00e1ficos nas mais diversas m\u00eddias das artes c\u00eanicas, incluindo coreografias de comiss\u00f5es de frente em diversas Escolas de Samba. Estudou salsa em Cuba e Costa Rica, fazendo interc\u00e2mbio na Escola Nacional de Cuba, Dan\u00e7a de Competi\u00e7\u00e3o em v\u00e1rios pa\u00edses da Europa, entre eles: Fran\u00e7a, It\u00e1lia e Alemanha. Estuda tango h\u00e1 mais de dez anos na Argentina, tendo feito aula com os melhores mestres de Tango de Buenos Aires.<\/strong><br \/><br \/><strong>Introduziu a Lambada no Rio de Janeiro em 1989. Estudou Jazz com Enid Sauer e Ballet Cl\u00e1ssico com Jean Marie. Possui grande experi\u00eancia na \u00e1rea de contato e improviso. Desenvolveu amplo conhecimento teatral com trabalhos feitos para diretores importantes como: Mauro Rasi, Domingos Oliveira, Amir Haddad, Moacyr G\u00f3es, Paulo Betti, Henrique Dias, entre outros. <\/strong><br \/><br \/><strong>Foi pioneiro, idealizou, dirigiu e coreografou Espet\u00e1culos de Dan\u00e7a de Sal\u00e3o e dan\u00e7as populares tais como: Sal\u00e3o Brasil, Lambada Alada, Com o Brilho do Teu Olhar, Viva Brasil , Rio de V\u00e1rios Sambas, C\u00e1 Entre N\u00f3s, entre outros.<\/strong><br \/><br \/><strong>Kiri Chapman come\u00e7ou o bal\u00e9 muito cedo, saindo de casa aos treze anos para estudar na Kirov Academy of Ballet, em Washington DC. Ela recebeu bolsas de estudos completas para seus estudos na Academia Kirov e para programas de ver\u00e3o na Escola de American Ballet e American Ballet Theatre. Ap\u00f3s se formar na Academia Kirov em 2005 e imediatamente se juntou ao corpo de Tulsa Ballet Theatre em Tulsa, Oklahoma. Em suas tr\u00eas temporadas com a companhia, de 2005 a 2008, ela se apresentou nacional e internacionalmente em coreografias de Twyla Tharp, George Balanchine, Nacho Duato, Ma Cong, Marius Petipa e muitos outros. Ela foi reconhecida em v\u00e1rias competi\u00e7\u00f5es de bal\u00e9 aclamadas internacionalmente: Youth America Grand Prix Finais de Nova York (top 12), Jackson EUA IBC (concorrente) e New York IBC (semifinalista) e foi destaque na revista Pointe Magazine.<\/strong><br \/><br \/><strong>Chapman come\u00e7ou o ballroom dance e dan\u00e7a latina em Nova York em 2010 e desde ent\u00e3o vem treinando, ensinando e competindo em festivais ao redor do mundo.
