Luis Florião has researched Brazilian Dances since 1987, and partnered with Ariana D’Acri to teach ballroom dancing since 1993. Their preferred dances are samba, forró and lambada (also called Brazilian Zouk). They organise workshops and are present at the most important events and congresses of Brazilian Ballroom Dancing in Brazil and countries such as: Germany, Argentina, Spain, England, Netherlands, Peru, Portugal and Switzerland.
They dedicate themselves to the dances most representative of Brazil with special care in traditions, research of creative moves, and new techniques. And to make it happen you are sure to find them in many conferences, workshops and dance events.
Manager of various projects such as the Academy of Dance Luis Florião (created in 1993 with the name of the Sindicato da Dança) and the Br Danças – International Congress of Brazilian Dances (annual event with its first edition in 2005), Luis is also President of Andanças- National Organization of Ballroom Dancing and is part of the management of Fórum Nacional de Dança.
